Atlanta took a 1-0 lead in the series against the Twins after taking a 4-1 win in Game 1 during Monday’s contest. Then, on Tuesday, the Braves won again — with a score of 6-2 — to take a 2-0 advantage.
The Braves were led by Ronald Acuna Jr.’s two runs and two RBIs. Austin Riley scored a run and had two runs batted in, Sean Murphy had a run and a RBI, and Ozzie Albies and Michael Harris II both recorded a run apiece, too. Bryce Elder finished with four strikeouts from the mound for Atlanta. Carlos Correa and Joey Gallo were the scorers for the Twins during the loss. Joe Ryan had five strikeouts, Oliver Ortega had two and Brent Headrick finished with one.
