Elon Musk’s Starlink is claiming that its rollout of high-speed internet in Italy is being obstructed by the country’s largest phone carrier, with possible repercussions for its services across southern Europe and northern Africa.
A Telecom Italia Capital bond due in November 2033 fell 1.2 cents on the dollar to 92.6 cents on Monday, heading for the biggest decline since Oct. 3, prices compiled by Bloomberg showed. That could also cause service outages in parts of southern Europe and north Africa that are partially powered by equipment located in Italy, according to the document.
