A Mobile Police is under investigation tonight after video of an arrest last Thursday appeared on social media.The video shows Mobile Police Officer Paul Callegari on top of Beezer DuBose, who appears to be handcuffed, while the officer throws punches at DuBose’s head.
The assault charge, according to a court filing, is a result of Beezer Dubose “grabbed officer Paul Callegari’s testicles and penis and twisted them causing serious physical pain.” According to MPD’s website, officer Callegari graduated from the Mobile Police academy in January 2020 and was Officer of the Month in August 2020.MOBILE, Ala.- On Thursday, October 12, 2023, at approximately 5:41 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of Dauphin Island Parkway and Halls Mill Road.
