Monaro Highway closed after 'traumatic' fatal car crash

One person is dead and another injured after a crash between a truck and a car.

One person is dead after what appears to be a head-on collision on the Monaro Highway south of Canberra.

ACT Policing described the scene as"traumatic", and warned the highway would be closed in both directions until further notice.
