The multiparty coalition initiative, aimed at unseating the ANC in the 2024 general elections, is set to have a national convention this week to discuss the terms of agreements and other issues for their pact.
JOHANNESBURG - ActionSA said the moonshot pact would be meaningless if the parties did not receive enough votes to form a governing coalition.
Seven political parties are set to sit for a two-day convention on Wednesday to discuss the terms of agreements and other issues for their pact.Out of the seven political parties currently part of the moonshot pact, four of them will be participating in their first general elections. Beaumont, however, ruled out the Economic Freedom Fighters , saying its ideological policies were at odds with what the pact was trying to achieve.
