FAIRBANKS, Alaska - If you’ve been out near Chena Lakes lately, you might have noticed construction happening along Laurance Road.
From July to approximately October, people will not be able to access a portion of the dam, specifically the top of the dam which provides a view point to the flood project. The closure is necessary to increase public safety.
