Areas north of Atlantic City could see 1 inch of snow, while Middlesex and Mercer counties are expected to see up to 2 inches.

After sunny skies and mild temperatures for much of the state on Sunday, a winter storm is forecast for the start of the work week, with snow predicted as far south as the Atlantic City area Monday evening into Tuesday.had extended just south of Trenton, and well inland of Jersey Shore. But an updated forecast later in the day extended the snowfall south and east, predicting up to 1 inch of snow in northern Atlantic County.
