Dozens more people injured in the blaze and death toll may still rise, emergency services say
More than 60 people have died in a fire that ripped through a multi-storey building in Johannesburg,At least 43 people have been injured in the blaze in the country’s largest city and the death toll could still rise, emergency services spokesman Robert Mulaudzi said.
Mr Mulaudzi said a team of firefighters had retrieved 63 bodies so far but more people could be trapped inside. They are currently working their way from floor to floor.
