Luxury fashion brand Mulberry is to open its first standalone store in Ireland.
The company has agreed a lease with Hines for the premises."The decision by Mulberry to open an own-door store on Duke Street is another very positive development for Grafton Street trading and underscores its status as the city's premier location for premium brand shopping," said Niall Ryan, Asset Management Director at Hines.
"We are also seeing significant interest being expressed by a host of other major international brands looking to locate in this part of the city at the moment and anticipate further positive announcements to come in H1 2023." The development comes as Paul Sheeran Jewellers dedicated watch store is set to open shortly at Hines’ Chatham and King development, facing onto Chatham Street, just off Grafton Street.
It will stock luxury brands including Cartier, TAG Heuer, Tudor, Hublot, Longines, Breitling, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Panerai. "The Grafton Street area has seen a remarkable turnaround since the Covid re-openings with a whole host of world-renowned brands taking new stores including Lego, Russell & Bromley, Skechers, Canada Goose and Mont Blanc," said Darragh Cronin of estate agent Savills.
