Japanese musician-composer Kitaro last performed in Singapore in 2017.

In 2017, the Japanese musician-composer staged a gig at the former Grand Theatre at Marina Bay Sands.

Kitaro, 71, said: “For many years, I have always strived to create a memorable and exciting spiritual live concert experience with breathtaking visuals. This time, I intend to delve deeper into my past and include music in this tour that I have not performed anywhere previously.”Japanese actor-singer Yu Shirota will be performing his first show in South-east Asia on June 22.

Best known for his role as Kagurazaka Makoto in the Japanese television series Hana-Kimi , the 38-year-old will be performing beloved Broadway, Disney and J-pop hits, including his own renditions of musical songs like On My Own from Les Miserables and Die Schatten Werden Langer from Elisabeth. She was last in Singapore in February 2023 as a member of K-pop girl group Mamamoo. Now, Hwasa is back for a solo gig.
