Featuring items such as the Sambal Mayo Burger , Sambal Mayo Chicken Shack and Sambal Mayo Fries, the menu will be available from Wednesday until 15 August.The spicy sambal sauce is made exclusively for Shake Shack by the Batu Lesung Spice Company and created by local chef Jeremy Nguee.
Our resident foodie, Bruce, said the Sambal Mayo Burger had elements of nasi lemak, but it wasn't nasi lemak, because"nasi lemak doesn't have minced beef".Meanwhile, our TikTok superstar Liz seemed to enjoy the Sambal Mayo Chicken Shack very much, agreeing that it was"very good" and that the mayo made the chicken patty feel"less oily".The Sambal Mayo Burger is available at $12.50 for a single patty, and $16.
