The game is set for Sunday, Feb. 16 at the United Center in Chicago, airing live at 8 PM ET on TNT and ESPN Radio in the United States.

The NBA claims the new format aims to increase the level of competition throughout the game, provide additional excitement at the finish, and make the outcome of every quarter count for charity. It will reveal more plans for Bryant tributes soon, it said., Team Giannis and Team LeBron will compete to win each of the first three quarters, all of which will start with the score of 0-0 and will be 12 minutes long.

As part of NBA All-Star 2020, more than $1 million will be contributed to Chicago community non-profit organizations through NBA Cares outreach efforts. Each all-star team will play for a Chicago-based charity beneficiary, as selected by the team captains.
