Heat alerts are back in full-effect across North Texas. An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect for the DFW area and counties west, where air temperatures could exceed 105. A Heat Advisory is in effect to the east. Areawide the heat index could exceed 110 in some spots. Please take the heat seriously, especially this afternoon and be sure to stay hydrated.
