Police say three pieces of candy had sewing needles inside of them.

Updated: Oct. 31, 2023, 9:21 p.m.Police in Silver Spring Township say three pieces of candy had sewing needles in them.Sewing needles were found Tuesday night in the candy of several trick-or-treaters, Silver Spring Township police say.

The needles were all found in three pieces of candy from the area of Pine Hill/North Locust Lane/Sunset/Marble,Anyone who finds candy with needles or other hazards or has information about the source of the needles is asked to call Officer Tyler Mardis at 717-238-9676 Tuesday night or any time at 717-697-0607, ext 2024.
