.NeilDiamond, DeepPurple & other 1960s artists to appear on Quentin Tarantino's OnceUponATimeInHollywood soundtrack
Neil Diamond performs onstage at Erasmus Hall High School on Sept. 29, 2014 in Brooklyn, New York.is hitting theaters this Friday , but Columbia Records announced that the accompanying soundtrack will also be available the same day.
The album was personally curated by Tarantino himself, and represents a love letter to the music of 1960s Hollywood, featuring tracks from artists such as Paul Revere & The Raiders, Deep Purple and Neil Diamond. Additionally, the tracks are weaved with vintage radio advertisements, to create a true ambiance from the golden era of filmmaking.
Tarantino's ninth film, starring Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie, follows the tale of a TV star and his stunt double as they work their way through the industry. soundtrack will be available on CD, vinyl and digitally across all platforms starting on July 26.
