"That's really what's driving , is the student growth and the need for additional capacity to handle those kiddos when they show up," said Calvert in a previous interview.Proposition A includes $634 million for five new campuses, an administrative building, a maintenance and operations building, expansions and improvements to current facilities, and a new career ant technology education facility.
According to a Texas education code, the language"this is a property tax increase" must appear on the ballot as part of all public school district bond propositions, regardless of whether passage of the proposition would result in a tax rate increase, a tax rate decrease, or not impact the tax rate at all.
