LONG BEACH, Calif. – If you’ve ever tried solving a Rubik’s Cube, it’s likely taken you a while – perhaps a few hours, a few days, a few weeks, or even longer.Max Park, a 21-year-old American, set the Guinness World Record for fastest time to solve a Rubik’s Cube – also known as a 3x3x3 cube – during the Pride in Long Beach 2023 event on Sunday in California.
Park, an official ambassador for Rubik’s, has become a “prominent figure in the cubing community,” according to Guinness. He’s also been dubbed “The Wonder of the Cubing World,” according toPark, who is diagnosed with autism, according to Guinness, has a simple motto: “Don’t think, just solve.”
