The new Valorant map was revealed during Valorant Champions and it looks great, with a map set in Los Angeles that is all about mid-control and pretty sunsets.

Now with Sunset, we can explore Gekko’s home city in the form of a map, which sticks to the traditional three-lane two two-site maps that are fairly standard across games likemaps is the focus on controlling mid and how both teams will have the chance to claim it as theirs during a round. The mid area apparently does not favor either team and being able to have a presence there for the entire round will seemingly be very important.
From the brief footage and screenshots that were shown the map looks great, featuring a lot of iconic LA icons such as food trucks, a sake park and of course some traffic. As the name suggests it is also set at the end of the day, giving the map a warm glow throughout and some impressive lighting makes it feel very different to other maps.
