Nick Cannon’s 5-month-old, Zen, died of brain cancer on Sunday, the TV host announced on his show.
, which is a buildup of fluid in the cavities deep within the brain. The fluid doesn’t flow or get absorbed the way it should, which can lead to blockages that put pressure on the brain and damage brain tissue.But the tumor grew faster, despite several surgeries and procedures, and Zen’s condition worsened around Thanksgiving, he said.“This weekend, I made a valid effort to spend the most quality time I could spend with Zen,” Cannon said.
Cannon described Zen, nicknamed “Z Chillin,” as the “most loving” child who was always smiling and had the “most beautiful spirit.”
