About 6 p.m., Tarrant County deputies responded to the 10800 block of Business Highway 287 near the intersection with West Bonds Ranch Road and found a crashed plane west of Hicks Airfield, according to a department news release.The pilot, who was the only person aboard, was not injured in the crash, the sheriff’s office said.
