Nordic $20 bln deal sets high bar for oil mergers - gfhay -
the oil and gas business of Sweden’s Lundin Energy, creating Europe’s largest listed oil exploration and production company, the two companies said on Dec. 21.
Aker BP will pay Lundin Energy shareholders $2.22 billion in cash, as well as 271.91 million of new Aker shares. The total package is worth $11 billion, based on Dec. 20 prices.
