NUH to establish health centre for early cancer detection in 2025The National University Hospital announced its plans to establish the National University Centre for Digestive Health in the first half of 2025 for early cancer detection.
The centre will integrate artificial intelligence and advanced technology into its services, including radiology and diagnostics, gastroenterology, hepatology, surgery, and therapeutic procedures.In addition, the centre aims to develop a more accurate blood-based diagnostic test for identifying individuals at high risk of stomach cancer, whilst developing novel biomarkers for early colorectal cancer detection.
