All hail Olivia Colman!
, coming this November—made a suitably regal style choice during the Raindance Film Festival in London last night. After walking the red carpet in a sharp black suit and lacy high-neck top, Colman decided that it was time to ditch her bright red stilettos, making her way to the stage completely barefoot. She was handed the icon award sans shoes and smiling, no doubt blissful with her soles on the ground and another statue in her hands.
Colman herself has some quirkiness in her step, as evidenced in the most charming way possible during her Oscars speech earlier this year. Winning the best actress award for, no less), she gave a humble, shaky, and incredibly endearing speech, beginning with the words, “This is hilarious…got an Oscar.” On that occasion Colman wore a custom gown designed by Miuccia Prada, cementing herself as a fashion icon in Hollywood.
