The episodes will serve as a tie-in prologue to the film and will depict moments from up to 10 years prior to its events, showcasing a younger Luffy and Uta hanging around Shanks’ Red Hair Pirates.
“Uta — the most beloved singer in the world. Renowned for concealing her own identity when performing, her voice has come to be described as ‘otherworldly,’” reads the official synopsis for the film. “Now, for the first time ever, Uta will reveal herself to the world at a live concert.
