The First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced the open house and dedication dates for the Deseret Peak Utah Temple, a re
ndering of the Wellington New Zealand Temple and the location of the Brussels Belgium Temple .
The temple was originally named the Tooele Valley Utah Temple when it was announced by Church President Russell M. Nelson in April 2019. The name was changed January 2021.Construction on the Deseret Peak temple began May 15, 2021. The Church also published a rendering of the Wellington New Zealand Temple, which was announced by President Nelson in April 2022.
