Robocalls are the top sources of complaints to both the Federal Communications Commission and the Federal Trade Commission. There were nearly 50 billion of these nuisances in 2018, according to YouMail. No one likes them. A few months ago, 35 state attorneys general asked the feds to do more to address this blight.
