Tesla Malaysia is set for a launch next week and just released the official price for Tesla Model Y. So what can you expect from Model Y? When will it come to Malaysia? This news might answer your question.
According to Tesla, Model Y is one of the safest SUVs in the world with a 5-star rating from NHTSA and Euro-NCAP. This model provides all-around safety measures, which include an all-glass roof, autopilot, HEPA filtration system and Bioweapon Defence mode. On top of that, the Model Y offers 2100 litres of cargo space, providing versatile seating and storage for up to five passengers with their belongings.
Thanks to the ultra-responsive motors, it takes just 3.7 seconds for Model Y to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h with a range of up to 533 km . As of now, the Tesla Model Y is available in 3 trims: Model Y , Model Y Long Range and Model Y Performance. The delivery date for these models is expected to be in early 2024.
The price for Tesla Model Y starts from RM199000 and is now available for pre-order in Malaysia starting today. Thanks to the low-carbon mobility initiative, you can also enjoy full import and excise duties exemption for newly registered zero-emission Tesla electric vehicles and 100% road tax exemption.
