The woman had red, glassy eyes, and an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her, according to a police report. The woman said she was driving from a friend’s house and didn’t know what happened. Her speech was slurred, according to the police report.
An officer arrested the woman for operating a vehicle while intoxicated after she refused to perform field sobriety tests. She also refused to submit a breath sample.Officers at 12:38 a.m. Sept. 24 responded to Travelers Grille regarding an intoxicated man causing a disturbance in the parking lot. An officer spoke with the suspect, whose speech was slurred. The officer had difficulty understanding the man and concluded he was highly intoxicated, according to a police report. The man could not provide the officer with an address. The officer then charged the man with disorderly conduct, a minor misdemeanor, according to the police report. He was jailed until a sober party could pick him up.A Raising Cane’s restaurant manager called the police department at about 6:55 p.m.
