Pappas temporarily pulls Hobby Airport lawsuit, saying more time is needed to arrange evidence

The attorneys for Areas, meanwhile, asked the judge to close the courtroom to the public during the main hearing, arguing sensitive business information could become public otherwise. Craft-Demming had not yet reached that request before the delay. "They got what they asked for," said Ben Stephens, an attorney representing Areas."If they didn't want as much discovery, they could have targeted for less."
He and city attorneys said Hooper had not shared her list of witnesses and exhibits prior to Wednesday's hearing, violating their agreement. Hooper said the city only agreed to make available a few of the eight city workers Pappas requested.
