, Canadian paramedic Jayme Erickson was called out to a crash near Calgary on Nov. 15. She sat with a girl who was removed from a car and was seriously injured. She was taken to the hospital, where she later died from her injuries.said that the girl’s injuries made her unrecognizable.
It wasn’t until Erickson got home that evening that Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers told her that the patient she was with her during her work shift was actually her 17-year-old daughter, Montana., a flight paramedic, Richard Reed, who was also Erickson’s friend, said that a car lost control and was hit by an oncoming truck. The driver was able to get out of the car but the passenger had serious injuries and was unable to get out.
