New bakery café specializing in pastries, cakes and breads strikes first in Katy with...

Opened during the busy holiday week at 23119 Colonial Pkwy. in Katy Asian Town, the new bakery café is the first of multiple units the brand with more than 4,000 global stores is planning for the Houston area.

The 1,730-square-foot store with seating for 20 offers an extensive menu that includes cake slices, sandwiches, salads, seasonal beverages, coffee and tea.Paris Baguette is planning locations in Spring Branch, Westchase, Pearland, Midtown and Chinatown. The latter location at 9110 Bellaire, which will be one of the largest units, is expected to open this summer. Paris Baguette expects to open 1,000 bakery cafes in the U.S. by 2030.

“We are so excited to be opening our doors to the Katy community,” said Rebekah Kim, owner and operator of the Katy bakery. “The time is now here to grab a cup of coffee and celebrate all of life’s moments, big or small, with our expertly crafted goods. We can’t wait to serve everyone.”
