Thorne didn't practice during Auburn's bye week due to a shoulder injury
After not practicing during Auburn‘s bye week due to a shoulder injury, Payton Thorne said he is “good to go” for Auburn’s next game against Louisiana-Monroe.
"A lot better than last week," Thorne said. “Got some good treatment on it. Obviously been working every day to get it back to normal. Feeling good.”but said he will throw at Tuesday‘s practice. Thorne also claimed that he thinks he could’ve played last week if he “really had to.”“Yeah, I felt it right away, it was right on there,” Thorne said. “I was a little upset -- I thought it was late and after the whistle, but we didn’t get anything for that, unfortunately.
“I’ll be good to go. I trust the process we’re doing in the training room,” Thorne said. “Knock on wood, I haven’t missed a game yet in my career. I don’t plan on doing that anytime soon.”
