Pedro Almodóvar's latest film, 'Strange Way of Life,' starring Ethan Hawke and Pedro Pascal, is set to hit US theaters on December 20th. The film follows the story of two former friends, Ingrid and Martha, who reunite after years apart in a unique and unexpected situation.

“Ingrid and Martha were close friends in their youth, when they worked together at the same magazine,” reads the film’s synopsis. “Ingrid went on to become an autofiction novelist while Martha became a war reporter, and they were separated by the circumstances of life. After years of being out of touch, they meet again in an extreme but strangely sweet situation.”as they portray the respective roles of Martha and Ingrid.
