Former Vice President Mike Pence says he doesn't know if former President Donald Trump committed any crime on Jan. 6, when the Capitol protests happened.
Pence's statement comes a day after Trump was indicted a third time over the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. When asked if Trump had committed a crime on Jan. 6, Pence said he does not know"the full case" that the government has."I think I've said on your network many times that I don't know if taking bad advice from lawyers is a crime," Pence said during an interview with Fox News.
"I think the American people, like I did here at the Indiana state fair, want us talking about the problems they're facing, and bringing solutions to restoring security and prosperity to American families and all of the American people," Pence said.
