A federal judge in March enjoined Paul Parshall from using any form of Penn State's trademarks.
WILLIAMSPORT – Penn State is seeking $163,143 in attorney fees from a Florida businessman who in March was permanently enjoined from using any form of the university’s trademarks.enjoined Paul L. Parshall
The legal services rate is what the court had used in other cases in which Penn State was awarded fees, the university explained. She also concluded Parshall’s pattern of behavior may have kept potential customers from accessing the legitimate university website or the website of licensors of the Penn State marks.
“He developed his business specifically to exploit the trademark rights of Penn State and other famous sports programs and refused to cease his infringement voluntarily.”
