Stacey Shannon, 53, was found dead Thurs., Dec. 22, 2022, in the Sunken Gardens off Front and Verbeke Street in Harrisburg. Days after releasing footage of a man who was with Stacey Shannon hours before her body was found in Harrisburg’s Sunken Gardens Park, police say they’ve got someone in custody.
Harrisburg police did not publicly identify the man but said that their person of interest was identified and detained on unrelated warrants. The investigation is ongoing, and police said additional information will be provided at a later time.. She died of multiple traumatic injuries, and her death was ruled a homicide.On Wednesday, police released surveillance photos and video of the man with Shannon earlier in the morning of Dec. 22.
