Taylor Shugart said it happened Tuesday afternoon at the Wawa on Philips Highway near the intersection of University Boulevard. She said her boyfriend went inside to grab something. When he saw his brake lights on, he ran back out and saw someone taking off in the truck.

Shugart said her boyfriend is a crabber, and he uses the truck to tow a boat.“All of his stuff was in there, the books, the business money and all the crab boxes,” she said.“He listens to Bandit, or if you whistle, he’ll listen to that as well.
