A news release from the Fremont Post of the patrol says alcohol is a suspected factor in the crash on U.S. 6 in Sandusky County that killed David Walker II, 20, of Vermilion.
MADISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A 20-year-old man from Vermilion was killed Sunday night when a car he was riding in was hit head-on by a pickup truck that was trying to pass multiple vehicles, according to the State Highway Patrol.
The patrol says the crash occurred just after 10:30 p.m. A Ford F-150 reportedly driven by a 42-year-old Toledo man was traveling east on U.S. 6 when it went left of center in an attempt to pass several vehicles at once.
