Starting this year, lighting fireworks in Pierce County's unincorporated areas is restricted to July 4th only-- any other day in those areas is illegal. FOX13

Fireworks go on sale in some areas of Washington state starting June 28. But many cities and counties have banned the sale or use of fireworks. Here's what you need to know ahead of 4th of July., most communities have very specific days and times when lighting fireworks is allowed.
