Top of MPs' minds was who would actually end up bearing the costs of stronger protections for platform workers – the workers, the platform companies or consumers.SINGAPORE: Lawmakers on Monday raised concerns over who would bear the costs of higher Central Provident Fund contributions and work injury compensation, and unfair discrimination against some platform workers should a landmark Bill aimed at protecting these workers be passed.
