See who turned in top performances last week in N.J. boys lacrosse
A senior from Shawnee reached a significant milestone last week with his 100th career goals while a number of hotshot underclassmen around the state have given early indication that big-number achievements will also be theirs one day.
Most of the honorees in this first installment of NJ.com Player of the Week awards turned in impressive offensive numbers to help their teams launch successful starts, though one exception is a versatile LSM from Morris County who handles himself remarkably well in three phases of the game. Another is a goalie from Somerset county who turned heads with his grit and quickness as a freshman last year, and has raised the level of his game even higher as a sophomore.
