Poco has introduced the latest smartphones in its mid-range X-series, and it could well be one of the most compelling choices for consumers looking to upgrade their ageing smartphones without having to break the bank. So if you have been looking to upgrade your device, the Poco X5 Pro 5G and Poco X5 5G will go on sale in Malaysia and Singapore starting today. The X5 Pro 5G is quite a step up in quite a few departments when compared to last year’s X4 Pro 5G.
On the subject of cameras, the X5 Pro 5G actually retains the same triple camera array found on the X4 Pro 5G. This includes the 108MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide sensor and 2MP macro sensor. As for the selfie shooter, the X5 Pro 5G comes with a 16MP shooter. The difference maker here is the new Snapdragon 778G chipset that should improve the quality of photos and videos captured.
Equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 chipset and paired with either 6- or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, the X5 5G should be able to breeze through most of your daily tasks and also handle most games with no issues. For the heavy multitasker, the X5 5G comes with Dynamic RAM Expansion Technology 3.0 that helps to support more apps running in the background. In terms of storage, the 6GB variant comes with 128GB while the 8GB variant has 256GB of storage.
