Calgary judge finds Olds resident Reece Wadden not guilty of three criminal charges for pointing an imitation firearm at The Last of Us set.

The Alberta Court of Justice judge commended the RCMP for arresting Wadden without incident after police were called by staff of the hit HBO show when the accused was seen pointing an air soft rifle out his second-floor apartment window. “In the circumstances of this incident it’s fortunate that Mr. Wadden was arrested peacefully,” Stevenson said.
He said the arrival of the Mounties at Wadden’s apartment “could have resulted in his death, or serious injury. “It should be a lesson to all persons who own or possess imitation firearms of the dangers they face when handling such weapons.”
