M'sian police confirm dancing, naked transgender woman sent to hospital for evaluation.

Yesterday’s incident showing a transgender woman dancing naked through the streets of Kuala Lumpur’s popular shopping district Bukit Bintang, captured on video and widely shared clip across several social media platforms, including your WhatsApp family group chat that sent your more conservative relatives into a frenzy, was confirmed by the city’s police. They have clarified that the woman was suffering from mental episode, and has since been sent for treatment at Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

At 11:15am, several members of the public reported that the woman was dancing through an intersection along Jalan Imbi, recording the incident via phone from their cars, or from a distance. While no one tried to help or stop the woman, officers from the Dang Wangi police station arrived on the scene and took the individual for medical treatment.

In several videos taken at the scene, the unnamed individual, purported to be a Filipino national, is seen first exiting a taxi wearing underpants, but topless. She is later captured dancing through the busy intersection, hopping along the divider, throwing herself to the ground while gyrating, and even jumping, and walking across several moving vehicles.
