A man was seen severely beating a puppy Wednesday night in York, and police are asking for the public’s help finding him.
York City police said the assault happened around 9 p.m. on the 400 block of South Pershing Avenue. The man who hurt the dog was tall and wearing a red shirt, according to police.The dog, which police say appeared to be 6 to 8 months old and a German Shepherd or shepherd mix, was left bleeding, seriously injured and unconscious.
