An old video of Jim Jordan speaking at a Trump rally is being mischaracterized on social media.
establishing the select committee to investigate the Jan. 6 Capitol attack, which the post seems to allude to by referencing its vice chair, Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo.
At the rally, Jordan didn’t mention Cheney. He did mention House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., saying about 16 minutes into,"Tonight as we sit here and talk, you can’t go to your Capitol to petition your member of Congress to redress your grievances because Nancy Pelosi won’t let you in." The crowd then chants,"Lock her up!" Jordan waited until they quieted and pivoted to talking about the border and freedom of speech.Our Sources
