On the facelifted Cayenne, iPhone owners will be able to control a number of vehicle settings from within Apple CarPlay car auto cars
earlier this year, but the automaker has announced it will have new features that will make iPhone owners happy. In particular, the My Porsche App will now be accessible within Apple CarPlay.and CarPlay. As Porsche explained, users will be able to “access core functions” including audio and climate controls as well as more obscure settings such as the ambient lighting system.
Porsche went on to say these functions can be combined into “wellness modes” such as Relax, Warm Up, and Refresh using quick actions in CarPlay. As a result, it sounds like Relax mode could be programmed to turn the temperature down, change the ambient lighting to blue, and set to play relaxing music.
