Shiny silver curtains, anyone? The Rabanne H&M Home collection, which drops November 9, is equal parts futuristic and fun.
If there’s anything Rabanne is known for, it’s a party dress—preferably one with silver or gold discs, or in a space-age style. So, when creative director Julien Dossena decided to work with H&M Home on a capsule collection , he knew that his decor was meant for a party house: one that is a sanctuary by day, but a social setting by night. “I wanted to design items that would be useful at a big gathering of friends,” Dossena says.
” Like he does with his designs, he took painstaking care to make sure everything was imbued with modern touches. The result? A 28-piece collection that is unmistakably Rabanne. Metal goblets take the shape of classic red Solo cups—a staple at any American House party—whereas playing cards come in a sleek silver case along with a matching set of dice. Candleholders come in metallics, and curtains in sequin paillettes. It’s glamorous, it’s futuristic, and it’s also surprisingly functional.
