Sen. Warren said now there are too many complicated forms, which give insurance companies a chance to say no.Sen. Sanders said no one can defend the dysfunctionality of the current system where drug and insurance companies have spent millions on lobbying. He referred to his recent bus trip to Canada where he joined patients who traveled to get cheaper drugs.
Mr. Sanders also said his health plan isn’t radical and is what other countries do, and noted that today is the anniversary of Medicare.
