Long-time Trump critic said there is no doubt president is racist following comments about four nonwhite congresswomen.
George Conway said there is now no doubt in his mind that Donald Trump is racist in the wake of the controversial tweets he sent about four nonwhite congresswomen. Conway had previously given Trump the benefit of the doubt over past inflammatory remarks.
"I thought, President Trump was boorish, dim-witted, inarticulate, incoherent, narcissistic and insensitive," Conway wrote."He's a pathetic bully but an equal-opportunity bully—in his uniquely crass and crude manner, he'll attack anyone he thinks is critical of him. No matter how much I found him ultimately unfit, I still gave him the benefit of the doubt about being a racist.
When asked by reporters if his tweets were racist prior to his Made in America speech at the White House on July 15, Trump replied:"Not at all." During his speech, Trump added:"These are people that in my opinion hate our country. Now you can say what you want, but get a list of all the statements they have made and all I'm saying is if they're not happy here, they can leave.
